About me

I am a fully-qualified chartered accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

I qualified after training in a general accountancy practice. I have worked in practice for over twenty years, with much of my experience gained in corporate teams serving small and medium sized owner-managed businesses.

I firmly believe that small businesses, including the self-employed, are the backbone of our economy and a vital source of diversity and job creation. Creating MJ Milton Accountancy is the fulfilment of a long-term ambition to offer a more personalised service in order to help and support small businesses and their owners.

When I’m not being an accountant, I love spending family time with my wife and two daughters. Music is an important part of our lives and I am passionate about playing the piano and guitar. I live in Tunbridge Wells and enjoy taking advantage of all that the town and its surroundings have to offer, including taking walks in the countryside and local parks with Monty, our King Charles Cavalier pup.
